WARNER, Oklahoma - The Trojans went head to head with the Connors State College Cowboys on Thursday evening and couldn't execute the win, 76-54. The loss puts the Trojans to 4-10 on the season and 2-2 in Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

The Cowboys were up 29-10 at the 3-minute mark of the first half when the Trojans went on a 12-2 run for a half time score of 31-22. Connors spread the wealth as they had four players in double digits. Seminole shot only 37% from the field for the game and struggled to get anything going offensively the entire night. Connors shot 55% from the floor  and out rebounded Seminole by 13. "We played poorly or worse tonight for forty minutes in every single category a person can evaluate basketball performance," said Head Coach Tom Mills. In second half action Connors showed a 24-point lead five times in the final 20 minutes of action.

Chase Mongold led the Trojans' scoring with 14 points.

The Belles and Trojans are on the road once again as they compete with Murray State College in Tishomingo on Monday, January 16th at 6 and 8 pm.
