SEMINOLE, Oklahoma - The Seminole State Trojans' defeat came in a conference match up against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, 82-54. "It's frustrating for us to play games and execute so little of what we practice every day," said Head Coach Thomas Mills. Fourteen turnovers in the firth half combined with shooting only 30% from the floor forced Seminole State into a 15 point halftime deficit. NEO shot 46% from the floor and went 4 for 9 from behind the arc. The second half saw similar results for both teams. The Trojans continued to struggle to finish plays around the basket and shot only 30% from the floor for the game. NEO converted 18 of 27 field goals in the second half and outscored SSC by 13 to give them the 82-54 victory.

Freshman, Brandon Caporale and JoVaughn Love each scored 10 points for the Trojans. Caporale also led the team in rebounds with 8.

The loss moves the Trojan record to 6-12. The Trojans' next contest is against Eastern Oklahoma State in Wilburton on Monday, January 30, at 6:00pm.
