The 2011-2012 season came to an end Friday for the Seminole State men's tennis team, finishing 9th at the 2012 NJCAA National Championships in Plano, Texas. This ends another successful season for the men's program, with a top 10 finish for the fifth straight year. The men's team finished 5th in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011. Highlights from this years tournament were Caio Nunes at number four singles, Johnathan Taylor at number five singles, Trung Le at number six singles, and the doubles pair of Caio Nunes and Johnathan Taylor at number three doubles, all of whom made the quaterfinals in their respective draws. Also, the number one doubles pair of Admire Mushonga and Oliver Andersen dropped a close first round match, but fought back to win three matches in a row to make the consolation championship. In that match, they would however fall to Dezamacona and Fil from Johnson County CC of Kansas. The Trojan men also won 15 dual matches this season, compared to only six losses.
