The Seminole State men's tennis team brought home another top 10 national finish this week, ending the 2014 National Tournament in 6th place.

This year's tournament was once again held in Plano, Texas at Collin College. Seminole began the tournament ranked #4 in NJCAA in the most recent ITA poll. The tournament ran from Monday, May 12th to Friday May 16th, and saw several players go deep into the tournament. SSC had five of their six singles players reach the quarterfinals, as well as one doubles team. Freshman Vasil Surduk made the Semi-Finals of flight one singles and doubles.

#1 Singles, Vasil Surduk, Lost in Semi-Finals to Cowley College (3 wins, 1 loss)

#2 Singles, Tendai Tapfuma, Lost in Quarter-Finals to Laredo College (1 win, 1 loss)

#3 Singles, Alex Brown, Lost in Quarter-Finals to Tyler Jr. College (2 wins, 1 loss)

#4 Singles, Drew Forsyth, Lost in Quarter-Finals to Laredo College (2 wins, 1 loss)

#5 Singles, Aramis Azucey, Lost in Quarter-Finals to Collin College (2 wins, 1 loss)

#6 Singles, Mitch Vechione, Lost in Round of 16 to Tyler Jr. College (1 win, 1 loss)

#1 Doubles, Tapfuma/Surduk Lost in Semi-Finals to Tyler Jr. College (2 wins, 1 loss)

#2 Doubles, Brown/Vechione, Lost First Round to Collin College but won four matches in a row in consolation to win the consolation bracket (4 wins, 1 loss)

#3 Doubles, Azucey/Clerihew, Lost First Round to Cowley College but won four matches in a row in consolation to win the consolation bracket (4 wins, 1 loss)
