With the 2016 NJCAA baseball season halfway done, the Seminole State College Trojans remain one of the hottest teams in all the land. With a record of 25-6, the Trojans have dominated most of their opponents, resulting in many games ending early due to mercy rules. Many recent games for the Trojans include:

The Trojans offensive juggernaut is lead by sophomore Xavier Freeman, who is batting .423 with 61 RBIs, and 20 home runs which is the most in all of NJCAA. Abraham Toro and Cam Warren are both batting .448 with Toro picking up 55 RBIs, and 14 home runs, while Warren has 48 RBIs, and 12 home runs. Freshman Louis Pelletier has a batting average of .473, with 38 RBIs, and 15 home runs, while sophomore Phillippe Berthiaume has 29 RBIs, and five home runs, while batting .431.

On the mound for the Trojans, Tyler Parks leads the team with 54 strikeouts, while Dillon Drabble has 42 on the season. Brett Lorah currently has the lowest ERA on the team, with an outstanding 1.80.

Next up, the Trojans will travel to take on Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College on Thursday, April 7th, at 1:00 pm. Then they will return home on Saturday, April 9th to take on Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College at 1:00 pm at Oiler Park
