The Seminole State College baseball team recently volunteered their time to interact with a local group known as A League of Their Own for the second straight year. The special needs group met the Trojans at the softball fields here in Seminole on Monday evening. At the fields, the Trojans gave instruction to the kids, teaching them skills in batting, base running, fielding, and team work.

SSC sophomore first-baseman Xavier Freeman had these words on the the event: "I thought it was a great privilege to go out there and help kids that weren't given the ability to play the game like we are. It humbles me to be a part of it, we are all ways playing for something bigger than ourselves."
