Coach McSweeney enters into her fourth year as head coach for the Trojans. Previous to her head coaching stint, McSweeney was the assistant coach for Seminole State College for two years.
 
Coach McSweeney is a Seminole State alumnus who graduated in 2001. She was a catcher and designated hitter for the Lady Trojans from 1999-2001. McSweeney was an All-American in the 2000-2001 season and also named All-Region for both seasons. During her sophomore year she helped lead the Trojans to the National Tournament. McSweeney went on to play at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. She was named an Academic All-American during her two years there.
 
Coach McSweeney's first coaching position was at Miami Southridge Senior High School from 2003-2006, where she was the softball varsity head coach.
 
Coach McSweeney is married to Jim, and they have one daughter, Isabella and one son, Dario. They reside in Seminole.

Charlie Duval - Assistant Coach - 2nd Season
Coach Duval is from Missoula, Montana. He graduated from Valley Christian High School in Missoula, MT. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Math from the University of Montana in 2005. He served as the assistant coach for Missoula Mavericks from 2002-2005.
 
Duval enters into his first year as the assistant softball coach after his four year stint with SSC baseball. He will have his hand in all aspects of the softball program. He brings not only playing knowledge but a strong background in the fundamental parts of the game.
 
While coaching baseball for Seminole State Coach Duval served as the catching coordinator and strength and conditioning coach. He had several catchers transfer to Division 1 institutions.
