The Seminole State Belle's basketball team ended their season on Thursday in a tight overtime game with Redlands Community College. The NJCAA Region 2 quater-final game was played in Shawee, Oklahoma at Oklahoma Baptist University, as SSC lost 71-70 in overtime.

The Belle's still had an oustanding season, going 12-6 in conference play and finishing with a final overall record of 18-11.

Three Seminole State College Belles basketball players recently learned that they earned NJCAA All Region 2 Team honors. These players were:

Oulaymatou Coulibaly - First Team

Cherrell Price - Second Team

Jennifer Rosado - Honorable Mention

The Seminole State Belles basketball team will take on Redlands Community College from El Reno, Oklahoma this Thursday, March 7th, 2013 at OBU in Shawnee at 3:00 pm.

The Belles finished the 2012-2013 regular season with an 18-10 overall record, going 11-6 in conference play. SSC split the regular season contests with Redlands, losing by 17 at Seminole on January 21st, but defeating Redlands by 24 at Redlands on March 1st.

The winner of the Redlands vs. Seminole State game would then move on to Semi-Final action on Friday March 8th at 8:00 pm.
