NJCAA Region 2 Softball Update:

The Lady Trojans won their first round game in the Region 2 Tournament vs. Eastern Oklahoma on Friday 8-1. SSC then faced off against Western Oklahoma, and after battling for 10 innings fell 4-3.

Seminole State is back on the field today and just won their first game of the day 6-4 over Northern Oklahoma Tonkawa, and will now play against Connors State at 3:00 pm today.

Friday, May 3rd, 2013  vs. Eastern Oklahoma Won 8-1

Friday, May 3rd, 2013  vs. Western Oklahoma Loss 4-3 (10 innings)

Saturday, May 4th, 2013 vs. Northern Oklahoma Tonkawa Won 6-4

Saturday, May 4th, 2013 vs. Connors State at 3:00 pm

The NJCAA Region 2 Softball tournament will begin this Friday, May 3rd, 2013. Seminole State will face off against Eastern Oklahoma State College at 1:00 PM.

2013 NJCAA REGION 2 SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT

Two Seminole State Lady Trojan Softball players earned All-Region honors today. Freshmen Chelsea Delong from Lawton, OK was named to the 1^st team as a designated player (DP), while another Freshmen Marissa Shaffer from Sasakwa, OK earned second team honors as a pitcher.

These two ladies have helped SSC to a 27-15 overall record on the season and a third seed at the upcoming NJCAA Region 2 tournament this weekend at Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Seminole State opens with a first round game against Eastern Oklahoma State College at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 3^rd, 2013.
