Seminole State College's Belles Basketball Program will sponsor a girls' basketball camp June 3-6 for grades three through eight. The four-day camp will be held in the College's Raymond Harber Field House from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will cost $60.

Campers will receive individual instruction in basketball fundamentals to improve their game, as well as have the opportunity to play in daily games to further their basketball understanding. Participants will have a 30-minute lunch break each day. A concession with snacks and drinks will be provided and pizza will be sold for $1.50 per slice. Campers will also receive a T-shirt with their registration fee.

Registration will be held from 8:45 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Monday, June 3. Those needing additional information or wanting to pre-register for the camp should contact SSC Head Belles Basketball Coach Rita Story-Schell at (405) 382-9223.

Thu, Mar. 7, 2013 - [Women's Basketball]

The Seminole State Belle's basketball team ended their season on Thursday in a tight overtime game with Redlands Community College. The NJCAA Region 2 quater-final game was played in Shawee, Oklahoma at Oklahoma Baptist University, as SSC lost 71-70 in overtime.

The Belle's still had an oustanding season, going 12-6 in conference play and finishing with a final overall record of 18-11.
